Two Pittsburgh area residents were arrested Monday in Blair County after allegedly being busted with more than $9,000 worth of drugs.
Logan Township police charged James Watts Jr., 18, Glassport, and a juvenile after stopping the two while leaving an East 6th Avenue apartment in Altoona.
According to a probable-cause affidavit, Watts led police on a foot chase before being arrested.
Police found $472, seven grams of crack, five grams of cocaine, five grams of heroin, more than 40 Xanax pills and approximately 264 bags of heroin on Watts, according to the affidavit.

WJAC — $37.4 million announced for increased access to broadband internet in our region. This according to local lawmakers, and the Pennsylvania broadband development authority.
Lawmakers say the move is currently in the early stages of supplemental funding from the U.S. Department of treasury, (or P.B.D.A.).
State senator Wayne Langerholc says the usage of internet is becoming more essential, as time passes.
Langerholc tells me this will also allow for more competition to help fill the gaps in broadband internet access for rural areas.

If the students appear at ease on the set, it’s because they’ve had exclusive access to the region’s legacy news station, WJAC-TV.
17-year-old Marty is the grandson of former longtime 6 News Anchor Marty Radovanic.
15-year-old Lyza is the daughter of 6 News Anchor Jen Johnson, who has been at the station for more 30 years.

Centre Co., PA (WJAC) — The Centre County Festival of Trees returned in-person Saturday after two years.
While the festival is all about the trees, it could easily be called the festival of lights.
"We could tell it was going to be a special event and people wanted to get out just because of the amount of foot traffic coming through the doors last night,” said Joe Luther, a Horticulture & landscaping instructor at CPI.
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (WJAC) — A Centre County man was arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing in Harrisburg, according to police.
Harrisburg police said 20-year-old Dylan Reeves was arrested Tuesday afternoon in State College after being identified as a possible suspect in the case.
Police said a body was discovered Tuesday morning along the railroad tracks in the Greenbelt area near the Susquehanna River.
They said the victim, 21-year-old Daniel Kelly, died of multiple stab wounds.

INDIANA COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Authorities say one of eight individuals charged in the 2022 kidnapping and killing of a 19-year-old Indiana County man is facing life in prison after pleading guilty but mentally ill.
Taylyn Edwards, now age 20, of Johnstown, reportedly conspired with seven others to kidnap and kill Hayden Garreffa.
Police say Garreffa's body was found in a remote, wooded area in Brush Valley Township in October of 2022.
