(AP) — Lab-grown meat is not currently available in any U.S. grocery stores or restaurants. If some lawmakers have their way, it never will be. Earlier this month, both Florida and Alabama banned the sale of cultivated meat and seafood, which is grown from animal cells. In Iowa, the governor signed a bill prohibiting schools from buying lab-grown meat. Federal lawmakers are also looking to restrict it. It’s unclear how far these efforts will go.

COALPORT, Pa. (WJAC) — State police say a man is behind bars after allegedly assaulting two people at a Minit Mart and threatening them with a shotgun. According to a release, troopers say the incident happened at the Coalport Minit Mart along Main Street sometime around 11:30 p.m. Friday. Troopers say 59-year-old Kenneth Selvage assaulted a 38-year-old man and 35-year-old woman with a wooden club. According to the release, Selvage went to his vehicle and got a shotgun.

UPDATE | Centre Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities say the man accused of robbing and burglarizing a York County sports card shop has been taken into custody. Police say Jonathan Eisenhuth, 38, was arrested Tuesday in Centre County by state police. ORIGINAL | Authorities with the West York Borough Police Department are asking for the public's help in locating a burglary suspect who is believed to be in the Centre County area.

NEW YORK (AP) — Stormy Daniels took the witness stand Tuesday at Donald Trump's hush money trial, describing for jurors a sexual encounter the porn actor says she had with him in 2006 that resulted in her being paid off to keep silent during the presidential race 10 years later. Jurors appeared riveted as Daniels offered a detailed and at times graphic account of an encounter Trump has denied. Trump stared straight ahead as Daniels entered the courtroom, later shaking his head and whispering to his lawyers as she testified.

Blair Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities say a Blair County man who was arrested earlier this year after he confessed to killing his neighbor and living with the victim's corpse, for three days, is now facing additional charges. Last week, officials reported that 51-year-old Raymond Oechsle Jr. was accused of stabbing two fellow inmates while jailed on the previous murder charge. On Friday, authorities say Oechsle was charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and assault by a prisoner.

HYDE PARK, Ohio (WKRC) - A teenager is dead after being shot just hours after his high school graduation. Lamon Wiggins, 18, attended Withrow High School. Lamon's family said he just attended prom a little more than a week ago and graduated on Friday night. Like many high school graduates, he went to celebrate with some friends, but his family said what happened next was completely unexpected. Around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, a celebration was interrupted by gunfire.

CHICAGO (AP) — Police began dismantling a pro-Palestinian encampment early Thursday at DePaul University in Chicago, hours after the school's president told students to leave the area or face arrest. Officers and workers in yellow vests cleared out tents and camping equipment at the student encampment, leaving behind yellow squares of dead or dying grass where the tents had stood. Indiana County, PA (WJAC) — State police in Indiana County are searching for a Punxsutawney man following a shots fired incident Thursday night in White Township. Troopers say 27-year-old Storm Armagost is accused of firing one shot at another man during an argument. Investigators say troopers were dispatched around 10 p.m. for reports of a shooting at an apartment along South 3rd Street in White Township. Police say the victim claimed that another man, later identified as Armagost, had reportedly pointed a pistol at him and fired one shot in the direction of his head.
