LOS ANGELES (TND) — A Christian lifeguard in California is suing his local fire department after it allegedly threatened to dismiss him for refusing to display a Pride flag at his workplace, court documents show.
The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors in 2023 passed a resolution requiring all facilities operated by the county to display the 'Progress Pride Flag' during June. Capt. Jeffrey Little says he requested a religious exemption to this rule, which the county allegedly granted before rescinding two days later.
PA (WOLF) — On Friday, the Pennsylvania State Police announced the funeral arrangements for Trooper Martin F. Mack III and Trooper Branden T. Sisca who lost their lives in the line of duty on Monday, March 21.

TEMPE, Ariz. — Windber native Frank Kush, the fearsome coach who transformed Arizona State from a backwater football program into a powerhouse, has died. He was 88.
"Coach Kush built ASU into a national football power," university president Michael M. Crow said in a statement. "He taught us how to make football work, and he put ASU on the map long before it was a full-scale university. Throughout his life he maintained his strong connection to ASU, working with coaches and devoting time to the football program.

On Monday, Clemens Food Group announced the acquisition of Kunzler, which has facilities in Lancaster and Blair County.
