Elephants can be found roaming the land in Somerset County, at the International Conservation Center as part of the Pittsburgh Zoo's efforts to help the species.

LATROBE, Pa (WJAC) — State police say a 9-year-old juvenile was responsible for making a false "active shooter" call on Wednesday at Latrobe Elementary school, according to a press release.
Troopers say a 911 phone call was placed Wednesday afternoon, reporting that several shots had been fired inside the school, resulting in a massive response from several area agencies, including state police and the City of Latrobe police department.
Upon further investigation, police learned that there was no active threat against the school and the identity of the caller was determined to be a 9-year-old juvenile, who made the call intentionally.
BALD EAGLE -- The Bald Eagle softball team hosted Clearfield on Thursday and used an early lead to beat the Bison, 4-2.
