PITTSBURGH – Pirates fans will soon be able to relive one of the greatest moment in the franchise’s history thanks to a donation to the Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum.
Businessman Thomas Tull, a member of the Steelers’ ownership group, and his wife Alba donated Bill Mazeroski’s uniform and bat from Game 7 of the 1960 World Series to the museum.
Mazeroski hit the winning home run in the bottom of the ninth of Game 7 against the New York Yankees to give the Pirates their third World Series title in franchise history.

BETHEL TOWNSHIP, PA. (WJAC) — Authorities with the Pennsylvania Game Commission say they are investigating the illegal killing of a Virginia opossum, in Armstrong County, after the animal was reportedly found hanging from a tree with a "noose" around its neck.
Investigators say the animal was found along Pine Hollow Road, in Ford City, Bethel Township, on Friday, Dec. 29.
The state game warden is investigating the incident, according to aFacebook post.
Cambria County, PA — Police say Dirk Jones faces first-degree murder, and other charges, for killing 21-year-old Caleb Beppler and wounding another man outside of the now former Liquid Currency bar in Cambria City.
“We’re still working on piecing all the whole specific timeline together," says Cambria County District Attorney Greg Neugebauer.
Investigators are working to determine exactly what led to shots being fired by Jones, on that June 10th morning.

LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. — A man from Lookout Mountain, Georgia thought he was setting up a sexual encounter with a woman who would provide him with an 8-year-old girl. He wanted to include a dog.
Turns out, he was speaking with an undercover officer.
In federal court this week, 44-year-old Eric Lee Bagley pleaded guilty to his charges.
In February 2023, Bagley contacted who he thought was an adult woman who was offering up her niece on the online platform known as Kik, according to a release from the U.

For 74 years, the name "Bob's Army & Navy" has been known to many across the region and in other parts of the state.
In June, however, it'll close its doors.
