PITTSBURGH – Pirates fans will soon be able to relive one of the greatest moment in the franchise’s history thanks to a donation to the Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum. Businessman Thomas Tull, a member of the Steelers’ ownership group, and his wife Alba donated Bill Mazeroski’s uniform and bat from Game 7 of the 1960 World Series to the museum. Mazeroski hit the winning home run in the bottom of the ninth of Game 7 against the New York Yankees to give the Pirates their third World Series title in franchise history.

BETHEL TOWNSHIP, PA. (WJAC) — Authorities with the Pennsylvania Game Commission say they are investigating the illegal killing of a Virginia opossum, in Armstrong County, after the animal was reportedly found hanging from a tree with a "noose" around its neck. Investigators say the animal was found along Pine Hollow Road, in Ford City, Bethel Township, on Friday, Dec. 29. The state game warden is investigating the incident, according to aFacebook post.
