Centre Co., PA (WJAC) — A Bellefonte man who was arrested last month after police say he intentionally set fire to a relative's home due to an ongoing "feud" will soon head to trial.
Matthew Davis appeared in Centre County court Wednesday where he waived his preliminary hearing.
Police charged Davis in July after authorities say he allegedly stole a gas tank, "jammed" it into the back of an SUV and then set the vehicle on fire.

Centre Co., PA (WJAC) — Some questions are being raised about former Penn State President Graham Spanier returning to campus next week for a book signing event.
Spanier is due to be at the Penn State bookstore on campus next Wednesday to discuss and sign copies of his book, "In the Lion’s Den.”
Spanier resigned as Penn State president in 2011, and eventually served jail time as a result of the Jerry Sandusky scandal.
STATE COLLEGE, Pa (WJAC) — Gumby's Pizza shop, located in downtown State College, was cited by a state health inspector on Friday for causing an "imminent health hazard" and using one of its food prep tables to give people tattoos, according to a report.
The health inspector said that the person in charge failed to stop the violations and notify the state health department. "The food prep table was used as a bed for tattooing, contamination from blood could have sprayed onto food contact surfaces, or the dough mixer,"

The Akron Police Department said in a news conference that around 10 p.m. Sunday, police responded to a private residence in Akron on reports of a large gathering. Officers arrived on scene and observed around 200 people in attendance of a birthday party who were "taking over the street." Officers dispatched the crowd and no arrests were made.
BRADFORD TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WJAC) — Emergency officials say Route 322 was closed Saturday afternoon in Clearfield County because people were trapped in a crash.
According to Hope Fire Company, the two-vehicle crash happened on Woodland Bigler Highway near McDowell Road in Bradford Township.
Crews reported heavy entrapment in both vehicles.
Route 322 was closed between the Bigler light at Minit Mart and the Woodland light at Gio’s as crews worked to extricate the vehicles' occupants.
