WILLIAMSPORT, LYCOMING CO, (WOLF) — A man is facing charges of child sex crimes after an alleged assault at a city homeless shelter. The Williamsport Bureau of Police says that officers responded to the Family Promise Shelter in the 630 block of Hepburn Street on April 6th around 7:30 AM after receiving reports of a possible sexual assault of a child. Police reviewed surveillance video that showed Leo Johnny Ortega, 28, engaging in inappropriate contact with an 8-year-old boy.

PHILIPSBURG, Pa. (WJAC) — Film lovers have had a lot to love in Centre County the past few days. The Centre Film Festival held another day of screenings Saturday. Best known for his role as Howard on the "Breaking Bad" spinoff show "Better Call Saul" — actor Patrick Fabian is flexing his indie chops. Fabian returned to his homestate Saturday to screen the film "Driver X" — which he stars in.

HOLLADAY, Utah (KUTV) — Search and rescue teams were called to the scene of an avalanche at Neffs Canyon in Utah Wednesday afternoon where a backcountry skier was partially buried, authorities said. Sgt. Melody Cutler with the Unified Police Department said the 35-year-old man was skiing the Thomas Fork area when a 200-foot-wide avalanche was triggered, burying him up to his chest. The man was apparently skiing alone, and no one was there to witness or report the incident.

MELBOURNE, Australia (TND) — Passengers on a Virgin Australia flight from Perth to Melbourne got quite the show when a naked man ran down the aisle mid-flight forcing the plane to turn around. Australian Federal Police told The Independent that the "disruptive passenger" on the domestic flight knocked down a flight attendant before being tackled by another passenger. A Virgin Australia spokesperson said that police met the aircraft on arrival in Perth and the guest was offloaded after the incident.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. (WJAC) — Penn State wrestling wins the Big Ten team title, as 5 champions are crowned champions. The Nittany Lions advanced 7 wrestlers to the finals, a school record. The championship round opened with Penn State’s Braeden Davis’ decision over Minnesota’s Patrick McKee, 8-1. Davis, the 6th seed in the tournament, is a true freshman and ends his first season with a Big Ten Championship. Top seeded Beau Barlett came up short, dropping a 4-1 decision to Ohio State’s Jesse Mendez, picking up his first loss of the season.

Cambria Co., PA (WJAC) — State police in Ebensburg are investigating a recent string of burglaries at the Mainline Pharmacy location in Hastings, according to a post from Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers. Authorities say the first burglary occurred on the morning of June 7th, and that an unknown male entered the pharmacy, by smashing through a glass door, and stole various medications. On June 25, police say an unidentified male was observed outside the pharmacy prior to smashing the glass door.
