WILLIAMSPORT, LYCOMING CO, (WOLF) — A man is facing charges of child sex crimes after an alleged assault at a city homeless shelter.
The Williamsport Bureau of Police says that officers responded to the Family Promise Shelter in the 630 block of Hepburn Street on April 6th around 7:30 AM after receiving reports of a possible sexual assault of a child. Police reviewed surveillance video that showed Leo Johnny Ortega, 28, engaging in inappropriate contact with an 8-year-old boy.

HOLLADAY, Utah (KUTV) — Search and rescue teams were called to the scene of an avalanche at Neffs Canyon in Utah Wednesday afternoon where a backcountry skier was partially buried, authorities said.
Sgt. Melody Cutler with the Unified Police Department said the 35-year-old man was skiing the Thomas Fork area when a 200-foot-wide avalanche was triggered, burying him up to his chest. The man was apparently skiing alone, and no one was there to witness or report the incident.
MELBOURNE, Australia (TND) — Passengers on a Virgin Australia flight from Perth to Melbourne got quite the show when a naked man ran down the aisle mid-flight forcing the plane to turn around. Australian Federal Police told The Independent that the "disruptive passenger" on the domestic flight knocked down a flight attendant before being tackled by another passenger. A Virgin Australia spokesperson said that police met the aircraft on arrival in Perth and the guest was offloaded after the incident.

The Nittany Lions advanced 7 wrestlers to the finals, a school record.

Cambria Co., PA (WJAC) — State police in Ebensburg are investigating a recent string of burglaries at the Mainline Pharmacy location in Hastings, according to a post from Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers.
Authorities say the first burglary occurred on the morning of June 7th, and that an unknown male entered the pharmacy, by smashing through a glass door, and stole various medications.
On June 25, police say an unidentified male was observed outside the pharmacy prior to smashing the glass door.
