UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. (WJAC) — Penn state has announced plans for the end of the fall semester while urging students to get tested for COVID-19 before leaving campus.
Dormitories at University Park will be closing on November 20.
After Thanksgiving break, all classes will be online.
Testing will be available for students beginning on November 6.
For students who test positive for COVID-19, the university will make quarantine space available after November 20.
A California company is recalling packages of frozen fruit that may be contaminated with hepatitis A.
Wawona Frozen Foods says the recalled bags of berries were sold at Aldi and Raley's grocery stores.
According to the company-- a government sampling program tested for the virus and received a positive result.
It says the recall is just a precaution.
No illnesses have been reported.
The recall includes frozen raspberries sold under Aldi and Raley's private labels and Aldi-branded frozen berry mixes.
BELLEFONTE - Kaden Clark, a Bellefonte Little League All-Star player, received tragic news early this year. Clark was diagnosed with a brain tumor in January, but that didn't stop him from doing what he loved most.
He once thought he would never play baseball again.
"We didn't even know if I was going to be able to play," said Clark. "Just playing was an achievement."
Within days of doctors telling him about the tumor, he was in an operating room.
UNIVERSITY PARK — The next head football coach at Old Dominion is former Penn State offensive coordinator Ricky Rahne.
Rahne spent the last six seasons at Penn State. He served as offensive coordinator for the previous two years.
Old Dominion will hold an introductory press conference for Rahne on Wednesday, Dec. 11.

More than 100 years ago, 17 black United States soldiers were executed in Texas after a wrongful conviction.
Sergeant William Nesbit of Altoona was among those hanged.
Nesbit was wrongly convicted of leading the mutiny of all black regiments against Houston police and civilians.
Now, more than a century later, a ceremony is being held to restore those soldiers’ names.
SOMERSET, Pa. (WJAC) — A funeral procession took place Monday afternoon for a local business owner who died in a Somerset County crash Thursday.
Pat Herring was the owner of Herring Motor.
His casket was placed on the back of one of his tow trucks.
Dozens of semitrucks followed.
State police in Somerset say Herring died Thursday when he crashed while driving a tow truck on Route 31 near Mount Zion Road in Jefferson Township.
