UPDATE | Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — Cambria County coroner Jeff Lees has identified the victim of the early morning fatal house fire in the Hornerstown section of Johnstown. Lees says 32-year-old Alexander Perring suffered thermal and inhalation injuries in the blaze. Investigators say the fire broke out at the home, located along the 700 block of Pine Street, just before 2 a.m., while crews were responding to another house fire that was just a few blocks away.

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — A senior adviser to Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro who abruptly resigned this week had been accused earlier this year of sexual harassment by a coworker who said his behavior forced her to quit her job in the governor's office. Mike Vereb, who served as Shapiro's secretary of legislative affairs until his resignation on Wednesday, was accused in the woman's complaint to the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission of subjecting her to lewd, misogynistic and unwanted sexual advances during her brief stint working in the governor's administration.

BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — State police in Bedford County say a man is behind bars after he reportedly kidnapped a driver over the weekend and then assaulted several customers at a local Sheetz store. According to the affidavit, authorities say troopers were dispatched early Sunday morning for an incident at the Everett Borough Sheetz. Troopers say Everett Borough Police had arrested a man, who was later identified as 37-year-old Calvin Huffman, of Uniontown, and stated that there were several victims and witnesses involved in said incident.

MIAMI, Fla. (WKRC) - A passenger died after jumping from the world's largest cruise ship soon after it left port Sunday morning. According to The New York Post, Coast Guard officials confirmed to its reporters that an unidentified man leapt from Royal Caribbean's Icon of the Seas cruise ship. According to the publication, citing officials, it happened on the first night of a week-long voyage from Florida to Honduras. “The cruise ship deployed one of their rescue boats, located the man and brought him back aboard,” Coast Guard officials told The Post.
